About Your Pup’s Stay

  • What is your home environment like?

I live with my husband in a spacious 2-story condo. There's lots of green spaces around and easy access to outside. We have no kids or roommates, and the energy level in our home stays pretty chill and calm. It's a great environment for pups who can't handle high-energy or high-volume boarding.

  • How many pets do you take at a time?

I take up to two pets at a time. It is not guaranteed your pet will be the only pet I board on any given day, but it is guaranteed each dog is properly vetted and accepted based on behavior and energy. I only accept small to medium size dogs that get along with other dogs.

  • Will you send me updates on my pet?

Of course! I typically send 2 updates a day with photos/videos. I try to do a morning/evening update, or afternoon/late evening update. I may send more depending on how your dog is doing. I do not expect you to respond, I understand you are away and busy. Of course, please feel free to reach out whenever you want more updates!

  • What experience do you have with senior pets?

I have tons of experience administering all forms of medication including injecting sub-q fluids. I have experience caring for blind and/or deaf dogs. I have dog strollers available for your senior pet so they can still enjoy the outside. I have baby gates around the house to protect them from stairs. I have a large supply of both female and male pampers, washable bedding, and doggy stairs/ramps to help them get on and off the furniture safely.

  • Will my dog be left alone during their stay?

I do dog sitting full time and have lots of time to spend with my doggy guests. Your pet would not be alone for extended periods of time, however I do ask that your pet be able to be left alone for up to 3 hours. For boarding and daycare, I may pop out to run quick errands or to appointments. For pups who need 24/7 care, please see constant care pricing on my pricing page.

  • Are walks included with boarding?

Yes, of course. I typically do two 30-minute walks a day (for the dogs who are able!). This is in addition to unlimited potty breaks. Additional walks are subject to a walk fee.

  • What is a typical day like?

I wake up at 7-8am and from there I immediately take my doggy guests for a walk around the neighborhood. I serve their breakfast after that, and then it’s a day of cuddles, naps, and playtime (with a bunch of potty breaks of course), until another afternoon walk. Dinner after that and wind down time until bed.

  • Are dogs allowed on the furniture?

Ha! Yes, and I probably couldn’t stop them even if I wanted to. Wherever your dog is comfortable is perfectly okay. Dogs have free roam of the couch, bed, and home.

  • Are you insured?

Yes! Your pup is always protected in my care. My general liability insurance is bound under KennelPro, policy number P107414.
